Process for handling an equipment complaint
If equipment fails, usually, it is best to contact the therapist or the company who made or supplied the equipment, who will make the necessary arrangements to fix the problem. The Test Laboratory and the Therapeutic Goods Act (TGA) should only be contacted in cases where the equipment seems to have been unreliable and unsafe.
If a dispute arises the Test Laboratory may conduct tests to determine what went wrong. A written report of the findings will be provided.
